Plantix agriculture app

Plantix is an application that helps farmers in precision agriculture. Precision agriculture is the use of AI (artificial intelligence) to improve the effectiveness of pest control methods, detect diseases quickly and combat poor crop nutrition. Sensors using AI (Artificial Intelligence) can drastically reduce the amount of herbicides and pesticides applied to crops by, for example, targeting only regions with high weed concentrations. Applications such as Plantix are able to determine the health of plants and soil by analysing images of plants and report problems such as certain nutrient deficiencies in the soil.
